Personal Experience
Lisa graduated from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law with honors in 2000 and received her bachelor’s degree in English magna cum laude from The George Washington University in 1997. Lisa served as a law clerk for several years at the State of Connecticut Appellate Court, where she extensively researched, drafted, and edited judicial opinions for publication. After her clerkship, Lisa joined a national law firm as an associate and litigated state and federal cases covering a broad range of legal issues such as unfair business practices, bankruptcy, insurance coverage, antitrust and professional error. Lisa now focuses her practice on workers’ compensation claims and is a member of the Connecticut and Maryland State Bars.
Lisa actively volunteers with local organizations such as Dignity Grows and Jewish Family Services of Greater Hartford and is the proud of parent of three children. In her free time, Lisa enjoys going on hikes with her dog, playing tennis and spending time with her large extended family.
