Personal Experience
Attorney Magdalena Narozniak graduated from Fordham University in Manhattan with Bachelor of Arts degrees in Political Science and International/Intercultural Studies. Her interest in world affairs led her to Universität Bremen in Germany where she earned a Master of Arts degree in International Relations with a concentration in global governance and social theory. Back in Connecticut, Attorney Narozniak received her Juris Doctor from the UConn School of Law. She joined the Connecticut Bar in 2019, followed by admission to the District of Connecticut in 2020 and the CJA panel in 2024.
Attorney Narozniak emigrated from Poland as a child and speaks fluent Polish. As an immigrant, she witnessed how economic and social injustice can distort an individual’s capacity to thrive. She believes it is her duty to remind prosecutors and judges to seek justice, not merely to convict, and to recognize a defendant’s humanity. Attorney Narozniak was elected as secretary of the CT Women’s Criminal Defense Lawyers in 2023 and in 2024.
